June 6th, 2010,a newspaper in Guangzhou reported that a five-year-old girl who had eaten a curved needle was sent to Guangzhou Children Hospital, where she accepted 217 medical checkups, including AIDS, syphilis and rheumatoid, and the fee was as high as 3366 RMB. After this incident was exposed to public, they together with most media criticized that hospitals had done too many unreasonable checkups and charged too much fee from patients.
