Qingdao Tianhou Temple and the A-ma Culture

青岛天后宫既是妈祖文化的主要载体,也是青岛重要的城市文化资源。目前,有关部门对天后宫历史文化资源的挖掘力度不足,旅游管理和规划亦有待完善。应进一步重视对青岛天后宫及妈祖文化的研究,加强文化交流与合作,开发青岛天后宫地方特色旅游产品。

Qingdao Tianhou Temple is the major carrier of the A-ma culture of Qingdao as well as the important resources of urban culture. At present, more efforts should be made to discover the historical and cultural resources of Qingdao Tianhou Temple, and the tourism management and planning need to be improved. It is necessary to do further researches on Qingdao Tianhou Temple and the A-ma culture. The government should take action to increase cultural exchanges and co-operations, and perfect the sacrificial rites, and develop more tourism products with Qingdao local characteristics.
