中医药是中华民族在与疾病长期斗争的过程中积累的宝贵财富,在继承发扬中医药优势特色的基础上,充分利用现代科学技术,推动中医药现代化和国际化,以满足时代发展和民众日益增长的医疗保健需求是历史赋予我们的责任。云南有丰富的中医药资源和逐渐成熟的中医学教育体系,巩固好、发展好中医教育,培养一批批高素质的中医药人才,这在我省正在进行的桥头堡建设中具有特殊的地位和作用。

The Chinese medicine is the precious wealth of the Chinese nation , accumulating over long-term struggle with various diseases, It is our job to carry forward the superiority of the Chinese medicine on the base of the inheritance,to impel the Chinese medicine modernization and the interna- tionalization to meet the needs of medical health care by using the modern science and technology. Yunnan is rich in Chinese medicine resources and has satisfactory medical institutions. Yunnan can do a good job in cultivating medical talents.
