西湖博览会与丝绸——纪念西湖博览会70周年

The West Lake Fair and Silk—Marking the 70th Anniversary of the West Lake Fair

192 9年 6月 6日至 1 0月 1 0日 ,规模宏大的西湖博览会在杭州举行。参展展品均为国货 ,其中丝绸展品设有专馆。从参展丝绸展品的数量、地区及获奖情况 ,反映出我国 2 0年代末丝绸行业的地理配置及其制造工艺和产品的质量水平。西湖博览会对当时处于危机之中的中国丝绸业是一个促进 ,它增强了丝绸行业的忧患和竞争意识。

The West Lake Fair was held in Hangzhou on June 6 to Oct 10,1929.All exhibits were domestic goods,with silk exhibits displayed in a special hall.In view of the quantity,regions and prize winners of silk exhibits,the fair fully reflects the regional distribution,manufacturing technology and product quality of China′s silk industry in the late 1920s.It promoted China′s silk sector which was in a crisis then,and enhanced awareness of worry and competitiveness in silk circles.
