梁实秋和朱生豪的汉译莎剧风格迥异,主要体现在音美效果、语体风格以及雅俗倾向等方面。梁实秋的译文在节奏、韵律方面欠佳,书面语味道浓重,但是他如实翻译了原文中的粗言俗语;朱生豪的译文诗意感较强,音调悦耳,口语化的表达通俗流畅,他对原文中的不雅语言进行了"净化"处理。梁实秋译莎更加注重戏剧的文学功能,而朱生豪译莎更加注重戏剧的表演功能。
