摘要 设计了一种采用单脊波导作为微波电路的新型行波光调制器。分析计算了脊缝间距小于1.00mm的脊波导中的电场分布、截止波长、频带宽度和特性阻抗;设计了与矩形波导联接的过渡段。结果表明:采用单脊波导作为光调器将使微波电场得到充分的利用,将提高调制效率;使波导单模工作频带增宽;具有较低的特性阻抗;通过过渡段易与矩形波导联接及保证单模传输。最后,经论证选择了切实可行的脊波导各几何参数a=13.00mm,b=10.16mm,d=0.50mm,s=1.00mm。 A new travelling light modulator using single ridged waveguide as microwave circuit is designed. The electric field distribution、cut off wavelength、 bandwidth and characteristic impedance with d<1.00 mm are analysed and calculated,the transition between the ridged waveguide and the standard rectangular guide is designed. The results show that the microwave applied field is made good use of,the modulation effciancy can be heightened; the band of single working mode can be widened;the characteristic impedance can be lowered;the transition can be easily connected with the standard rectangular guide and working at single mode. The feasible parameters of single ridged waveguide are a =13.00 mm, b =10.16 mm, d =0.50 mm,and s =1.00 mm.
