后现代主义在观念上注重艺术形式与艺术技巧的创新,对现代陶艺创作有着广泛与深刻的影响。作为一种多元价值取向的学术思潮,后现代主义注重历史的文脉性而又不拘泥于传统的思维方式,使得现代陶艺既反朴归真,又新创多出;后现代主义倡导自然存在与多元模式,又表现出现代陶艺创作的文化共享与人文关怀。

Postmodernism which attaches importance to innovation in art forms and techniques has extensive and profound influence on contemporary ceramics.As a theory of diversity,postmodernism respects history but is not subject to its restrictions.Therefore,contemporary ceramics exhibits diverse trends：returning to the original and traditional while pursuing the new and innovative.Postmodernists advocate the natural existence and plural occurrence;therefore,in contemporary ceramics are the awareness of shared culture and the feelings of humanitarians.
