Study on the Energy - saving methods of reactive power compensation in smal~ ferroalloy plant

通过现场调研、详细计算及设计，利用微机系统进行控制对铁合金厂设备进行无功补偿，使铁合金厂功率因数提高到0．93，降低了线损，取得了良好的经济效益。

Based on field investigation, detailed calculations and design, the computer system is used to control the reactive power compensation at small ferroalloy plant in this paper. Results show that the power factor has been improved to 0.93, line loss has been reduced and good economical benefit has been obtained.
