摘要
对霍克斯在《红楼梦》中的人名翻译进行了分析,对译者的翻译技巧进行了归纳,人名的翻译显示了译者在翻译过程中发挥的主动性、创造性和灵活性。
An analysis is made on Hawkes＇ name translation in A Dream of the Red Mansion.By summarizing the translator＇s translating skills,we have found that the translator exerts his initiative,creativity and flexibility in the process of translation.
