高职教育要坚持育人为本,德育为先,而思想政治教育是培养社会合格建设者和接班人,促进学生全面成长成才,维护学校稳定发展的根本途径之一,应始终坚持把思政工作摆在首位。英语教师要把德育作为己任。在日常教学中通过创新教学模式,挖掘教材隐形教育功能等途径渗透思想政治教育,提高学生的思想政治素养,为社会培养更多高素质的应用型人才。

Higher vocational education should insist on breeding people and moral education come first, ideological and political education should be put in the primary position all the time, since it is the main route of cultivating the qualified successors of our society, promoting students to be a talent person in an all-round way, and safeguarding the steady development of the school. English teachers in higher vocational colleges should take moral education as their own responsibility and lay stress on infiltrating the ideological and political education into their daily teaching, to achieve students＂ ideological and political attainments and to cultivate more skilled, applied and high-quality personnel for our country.
