从共指现象看约束原则的不足

On Deficiencies of Binding Principles from the Perspective of Co-reference

共指现象是句法研究的重要课题。Noam Chomsky(1981)从"管辖与约束"的角度研究代词尤其是反身代词的照应,然而其单纯的句法分析存在一些问题。因此,不同的研究方法继而被应用到揭示照应的意义和特征中,比如van Hoek(1997)从认知角度出发,基于可及理论提出"观念参照点"和"领地"的分析框架。共两大部分,通过举例分析约束原则,结合van Hoek的照应理论进一步阐述共指现象,指出前者的不足。

Co- reference is an important issue in syntactic studies, Noam Chomsky （1981） explores co - reference of pronouns especially reflexive pronouns from the angle of ＂government and binding＂, however, its pure syntactic analysis remains some problems. Therefore, different research approaches are applied to exposit meanings and attributes of co - reference, for example, van Hoek （ 1997）, in terms of poreeption, proposes ＂conceptual reference point＂ and ＂dominion＂ to analyze co- reference based on the accessibility theory. This paper mainly consists of two parts further elaborates on co - reference with the benefit of binding principles and van Hoek＇s reference theory with an aid of some examples, and points out some deficiencies of the former.
