Historical Contributions Which Hu Qiaomu Made in His Later Years to China's Economic Reform

中国的改革开放到今年已走过了三十多个春秋。三十多年来,沿着这条正确的道路,我国社会主义建设取得了举世瞩目的成就。晚年胡乔木作为邓小平的得力助手,在对三大经济理论的拨乱反正、在倡导按经济规律办事、在对党政关系的新论述、在主张学习资本主义国家先进科学技术和先进管理经验等方面,竭忠尽智,为我国经济体制改革、为开辟中国特色社会主义新道路,做出了贡献。

China＇s reform and opening-up have gone through 30 years. For three decades, right along this road, China has made remarkable achievements in socialist construction. As Deng Xiaoping＇s right-hand man, Hu Qiaomu in his later years gave an unreserved loyalty and all intelligence in ordering the three economic theories out of chaos, advocating following the economic rules, new discussion on relations between the Party and the government, and studying for studying the advanced science, technology and management experience from capitalist countries. Hu Qiaomu also made contributions in opening a new road for Chinese economic system and construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
