在建筑设计的开始，要把握住功能使用是基本，形式的探索是首要这个关键。要用现代的指导思想，要反映时代，要创新，而其表现形式则是来自对地域建筑文化、历史文化的研究中产生的感应和对现代建筑技术的运用。

In the initial stage of architectural design, the architect should understand that functionalism is essential and formal exploration primary. The guiding ideology should be modern, be reflective of time and be original while the way of representation should come from the interaction produced in the study of regional architectural culture and historical culture and application of modern building technology.
