Pragmatic Equivalent in the Translation of the Network Vogue Expression "Sharp Brother"

为更好地推动中国网络文化对外传播,在分析网络流行语"犀利哥"一词英译文的基础上,对目前网络流行语的翻译提出了语用等值的要求。

With the rapid development of the Internet,overwhelming network vogue expressions,due mainly to its abundant social cultural background,have great impact on our daily life.Nowadays there is an ever-rising fever about the translation of network vogue expressions,however,few probes into this issue.Consequently,this paper focuses on the pragmatic equivalent in translation and analyzes various renditions of the network catch word ＂Sharp Brother＂ so as to standardize and optimize the translation of network vogue expressions.
