摘要
绝大多数沸石矿床是由含火山玻璃的火山岩蚀变而成.新疆卡拉麦里山南坡为中酸性火山岩集中分布区域之一,是沸石矿形成的有利区.五彩湾沸石矿区发育酸性火山碎屑岩,主要矿石类型为玻屑凝灰质沸石矿,具变余凝灰质结构,由玻屑、基质和少量晶屑组成,呈层状或似层状产出,产出层位稳定.其矿床为斜发沸石与丝光沸石混合型矿床,属沉积自变质型矿床.
Nearly all zeolite deposits in the world result from low-temperature-alteration of glass-bearing volcanic rocks.The southern slope of the Kalamali Mountain is one of the regions where medium to acid volcanics are major lithological type, thus it is a preferred area to look for zeolite deposit.The Wucaiwang zeolite ore district consists of mainly acid volcanic-clastic rocks.The zeolite ore-deposit is a hyaloclastic-tuff type one, consisting of hyaline and minor crystal clastics and groundmass with meta-tuffaceous structure.The ore-bodies are layer-like with constant attitude.The ore-body is consisted of arduinite and clinoptilolite, obviously resulting from syn-deposition metamorphism.
