Analysis of a Cistern of Sewerage under Earthquakes in Tianjin Harbor

利用ANSYS有限元分析软件,对天津港某在建污水池进行了地震作用下的有限元分析,得到其受力分布,并给出了震害评估,以弥补目前污水池在抗震验算方法中存在的不足,为工程中现行的设计方案提供支持,提出调整建议,也为以后相关问题的研究提供参考.

This paper carries out a finite element analysis in a cistern of sewerage under earthquakes in Tianjin Harbor by using the FEM soitware of analysis-ANSYS, and then attains the stress-distributions and earthquake damage assessments. Hopefully, the research result may fill the gap in recent cisternal calculation of earthquake- resistance checking, provide support and offer advices about adjustments for the current design schemes, and give reference to the research of similar projects in the future.
