Be Quiet or be Resistent——The Interpretation of "The Gentlemen of the Jungle" from Postcolonial Perspective
摘要
从后殖民主义角度分析肯尼亚第一位总统肯雅塔的寓言故事《丛林里的绅士们》,可以发现其作品对东方学立场上的"他者"形象的颠覆和强烈的民族文化、民族独立思想。
This paper tries to analyze an allegory "The Gentlemen of the Jungle" by Public of Kenya's first president Kenyatta from the postcolonial perspective,and finds that the allegory overthrows the "other" image of Orientalism and demonstrates intense national culture and national liberation thought.
