90后中学生阅读网络小说,一方面有着从众心理,网络小说能让他们找到共同的话题;另一方面,从其成长环境来看,作为独生子女,他们在享有丰富的物质生活的同时,也承担了来自家庭、学校、社会赋予的学习、生活压力,虚拟的网络成为他们精神释放空间,精彩奇幻的网络小说能让他们感官获得新奇体验,暂时忘却学习的压力,情感得以宣泄,精神获得自我满足。

Why are middle school students so fond of internet novel？ What are the attributes and characteristics of the reading behavior and reading psychology of those students？ This paper tries to discuss the rationality of the middle school students reading internet novel phenomena through focusing on the cultural and spiritual life demands under the new environment in which the network is prevailing,and comes up with the idea that behind this network novel reading phenomena is the group psychology.The internet novel provides those students common topics,on the other hand,as the only child in the family enjoying the rich material environment,the virtual environment of internet becomes their last resort for seeking spiritual freedom,and the wonderful and fantasy internet novels provide them novelty sensory experiences when they are under the pressures of studying and living coming from the family,schools and the society,thus the pressures are temporarily forgotten,negative emotion is let out,and self-gratification is spiritually accomplished.
