新时期必须深刻把握弘扬和培育国民精神的基本理论,准确理解中华民族精神的基本内涵,遵循民族精神弘扬与培育的规律,将其作为国防教育课的主线进教材、进课堂,并贯穿教学的全过程。由此文章结论认为,突出国民精神信念的教育,既是在国际社会中树立中华民族的"国家形象"的长远之策,又是构建一种涵摄"公共性"文化精神与价值理念追求于其中的、富于鲜明时代特色的开放的民族精神新生形态之必需。

In the new period, colleges must grasp the basic theory to carry forward and cultivate the national spirit, accurately understand the basic connotation of the Chinese national spirit, follow the law of carrying forward and cultivating the national spirit, which is taken as the main line of national defense education, enters into the textbooks and the classroom teaching, through the whole process of teaching. This article concludes that the education of prominent national spirit faith is not only a long -term plan of setting up the national image of Chinese in the international society, but also the necessary of constructing a opening new form of national spirit with ＂ public ＂ cultural spirit and value pursuit and distinct characteristics of the era.
