The safety and biology active of collagen hydrolysate, including skinhealth and bone-density maintenance, blood pressure decrease, anti-gastric-ulcer and antioxidation were reviewed in this article. The application of collagen hydrolysate in the fields of functional foods and cosmetics were summarized. And the potential foreground of collagen hydrolysate was prospected.
