An Analysis of Shen-song Poetic Style

沈佺期、宋之问在唐代已齐名并称,南宋严羽首次明确提出"沈宋体",但并未对这一概念作出具体解释。"沈宋体"的"体",为"体性"之"体",是诗人创作风貌的总括,考历代文献中的有关评述,并结合沈、宋诗作加以辨析,则"沈宋体"的具体内涵可概括为精于声律、语言清丽、情多兴远。

Shen Quan-qi and Song Zhi-wen were mentioned in the same breath in the Tang Dynasty.Yan Yu explicitly put forward the definition of Shen-song Poetic Style for the first time in the Song Dynasty,but he did not explain the definition.Shen-song Poetic Style means the poet-style summary of Shen Quan-qi and Song Zhi-wen.By consulting related comments in literature in all ages and analyzing their poems,we can estimate the connotation of Shen-song Poetic Style which includes accurate rhythm,pure and splendid language and the lyrical style of far-reaching zest.
