摘要
采用小尺寸、高亮度、全彩色发光二极管(LED)作为体像素建立彩色体三维显示系统,可提供Φ850mm×640mm的柱状显示空间,屏幕分辨率为320×256,体素总数最多可达2亿.为了更好地分析系统的性能及显示效果,建立了相应的数据处理及仿真软件.利用3DSMAX生成具有表面纹理的三维模型,3ds文件及BMP文件作为软件数据源.原始数据被体素化后获得体素点的颜色信息,经换算后可转化为LED驱动电路的电信号用于实际显示.同时运用OpenGL实现体素数据的仿真,仿真结果表明:在系统的硬件水平下对不同彩色模型均可达到较好的显示效果.对相同模型进行体素化处理,其结果表明:提高显示屏的分辨率可明显改善显示质量;在一定的二维截面数范围之内,提高二维截面数可提高显示质量.
A multi-color three-dimensional volumetric display system utilizing small size,high brightness,full color LEDs as voxels was built,which provides at most 200 million voxels in a cyclinder display space with a diameter of 850 mm and a height of 640 mm,with a screen resolution of 320×256. To analyze the display performance of the system effectively,a data processing and simulating software was developed. Three-dimensimal models with textures were built by 3DS MAX. The 3ds file and BMP file were the software's data input. After data processing,voxel format data with color information were obtained and transformed to electrical signals for LED addressing. Meanwhile,OpenGL was used for data simulation. Simulation results for different models show that the system has good display performance under its hardware level. With voxelization processing of the same model,simulating results show that increasing the screen resolution can improve the display quality obviously,and increasing two-dimensional slice number within the specific limits can also improve the display quality.
