"贵州少数民族乐器图鉴"是在相关文献和实地调查的基础之上进行的音乐民族志研究之一种,是贵州少数民族乐器研究的有力补充和深化。是借助相关文献、民族音乐学田野调查的方法以及当代录音录像技术力量,对贵州少数民族乐器的分类、形制、民俗传统以及代表性曲目进行图、文记录和描述。本文旨在文献梳理、研究思路设定等方面,呈示已取得的阶段性成果,并通过侗族弯头琵琶作为个案例说。

＂The Illustrated Handbook of Folk Musical Instruments of Guizhou Minorities＂ is one of the studies on music ethnography based on related literatures and field investigations.It is a forceful supplement and the deepening of the study of musical instruments of Guizhou minorities.Aided by related literatures and methods of the investigation of national musicology and modern audio and video recording techniques,it records and describes the classification,formation and traditional custom of the ethnic instruments and some typical music works.The paper focuses on the situations of the discussion group when they did literature classification and research thinking setting.It shows main and stage achievements,taking the Dong Pipa,which has an elbow head,as an example.
