Opera Night at the Shanghai Expo

5月28日至6月8日,上海歌剧院于上海大剧院举行了"中国原创歌剧展演"。此次演出,上海歌剧院在十多天内连续上演了《西施》(两场)、《雷雨》和《楚霸王》三部歌剧。这也是为了在2010上海世博会举办之时,向全国乃至全世界的宾客展示近年来的中国原创歌剧作品。

OUTLINE/ Highlights of Chinese original operas were presented at the Shanghai Grand Theatre by the Shanghai Opera House from May 28 to June 8.During this Shanghai World Expo period,three Chinese operas—Xi Shi,Thunderstorm and The King of Chu—graced the stage.
