摘要
车牌识别系统是制约道路交通智能化的重要因素,主要包括图像采集、图像预处理与图像识别3部分。首先通过照相设备采集照片;然后对采集的图片进行预处理,包括灰度化、二值化、梯度锐化、降噪、分割图片、归一化等;比较样本与模板的相似度。通过实验结果表明,在简单环境下识别率达到97%以上。
The vehicle plate recognition system plays an important role in intelligent control of modern traffic.It contains of three steps:image acquisition,image preprocessing and recognition.First of all is taking photos of vehicle license.The following step is image preprocessing,which includes image graying,binary,gradient sharpening,noise reduction,image dividing and image normalization.At last it compares the sample with the template to recognize.The results of experiments shows the discrimination reaches 97% in simple environment.
