Nuclear expression of nerve growth factor in meningioma and its clinical significance

摘要 目的 探讨神经生长因子(NGF)在脑膜瘤中的表达及其临床意义.方法 对56例脑膜瘤切片进行NGF、孕激素受体(PR)、Ki67免疫组织化学染色,并随访患者脑膜瘤复发情况.结果 脑膜瘤中NGF核阳性率为41.1%,高于Ki67阳性率35.7%(P〉0.05).PR阳性率为印.7%.NGF核阳性率与Ki67阳性率呈正相关(r=0.741,P〈0.01),与PR阳性率呈负相关(r=-0.59,P〈0.01).NGF核阳性组患者中位复发时间(36.000±2.484)个月明显短于NGF核阴性组(59.000±2.295)个月(P〈0.01).结论 NGF核阳性率可以作为脑膜瘤细胞增殖活性及预后判断指标. Objective To investigate the expression of nerve growth factor (NGF) in meningioma and its biological significance. Methods Fifty-six cases of meningioma sections were immunohistochemi-cally stained with NGF, PR, Ki67 antibodies. Corresponding patients were followed up for recurrence of meningioma. Results NGF nuclear positive rate (41. 1% ) was higher than Ki67 positive rate (35. 7% ) (P〉0.05 ). PR positive rate was 60. 7%. NGF nuclear positive rate was positively correlated with Ki67 positive rate (r =0. 741 ,P〈0. 01), while negatively with PR positive rate (r = -0. 59,P〈0.01). The median relapse time of NGF nuclear positive patients was 36. 000 ± 2. 484 months, which was significantly shorter than that of NGF nuclear negative group (59.000 ± 2. 295 months) (P 〈0.01 ). Conclusion NGF nuclear positive rate can be used as an indicator for proliferation and prognosis of meningioma.
