补充抑或替代?——STS视野下的信息通信技术与科学知识生产

Supplement or Substitution? Information and Communication Technologies and Science Knowledge Production in the field of STS

信息通信技术(ICT)极大地变革了科学知识的生产方式,文章从学术交流方式、知识表达方式、知识的评价过程和科学家的社会分层四个方面阐释了ICT对于传统科学知识生产方式的补充性作用,从知识生产的多样性、异步性、开放性和实在性四个维度探析了ICT变革科学知识生产中存在的张力,并指出,ICT是传统科学知识生产方式的有益补充。

Information and communication technologies have greatly transformed the modes of science knowledge production.This paper expatiates the supplemental function ICT has worked on traditional science knowledge production from four perspectives：scholarly communication manners,knowledge representation manners,science knowledge evaluation and scientists＇ social stratification.Then it explores the tension between ICT and science knowledge production from diversity,asynchronism,openness and realism.The it concludes that ICT is a beneficial supplement for traditional science knowledge production.
