福利院养老护理员协助老年人服药的行为及问题分析

Research of behaviors of nursing assistants to help the elderly take medication in welfare nursing homes

目的了解福利院中养老护理员协助老年人口服给药情况和存在的问题,为今后进一步有针对性地进行培训和提高养老护理员协助老年人口服给药质量提供依据。方法采用自设调查问卷对福利院在岗养老护理员协助老年人口服给药情况、给药知识来源及学习需求等方面进行调查。结果养老护理员能够协助老年人采用正确服药体位,但服药过程中饮水量相对不足。培训是养老护理员获得药物相关知识的重要途径之一。结论福利院中养老护理员协助老年人服药能够较好地遵从护士的指导和要求,但仍需及时做好口服给药相关知识培训。

Objective To understand the situation of how the nursing assistants helped the elderly to take oral drugs and find out the problems,so as to provide basis for the further training of nursing assistants. Methods A self - designed questionnaire about the situation of helping the elderly to take drugs, source of drug - related knowledge,and training needs was used to investigated the nursing assistants. Results The nursing assistants could help the elderly take the right position for taking oral medication,but the water drunk after taking oral medication was relatively inadequate. And training was one of the main ways for them to obtain the drug - related knowledge. Conclusion The nursing assistants in welfare nursing homes can help the elderly to better comply with nurseg guidance and requirement about administration,and it is necessary to strengthen the drug- related knowledge training.
