Objective To investigate the effect of continuous vein-to-vein hemofiltration (CVVH) on electrolyte disturbances from severe diseases and summarize the nursing strategies. Method 246 patients with severe diseases combined with electrolyte disturbances were managed with continuous vein-to-vein bemofihration, the serum concentrations of K+、Na+、Cl^-, Cr and UN before management and after management were tested. Result After management, the serum concentrations of K+、Na+、Cl^- were increased significantly and the concentrations of Cr and UN decreased significantly (P 〈 0.05). Conclusions CVVH may correct the disturbances of electrotypes so as to reduce the damage to organs, accelerate the recovery of heart, liver and kidney. The delicate nursing care is the assurance for the smooth treatment.
