Fauconnier＇ s Conceptual Blending Theory（CBT） ,surpassing Conceptual Metaphor Theory（ CMT） proposed by Lakoff and Johnson, provides a dynamic perspective for metaphor study. This paper,based on CBT, explores the dynamic course of metaphor interpretation which is stated as a conceptual-blending process with mappings among multiple mental spaces in a specific cognitive context.
