The Development and Effect of Foreign Newspaper in Modern Harbin

外报来华是中国新闻传播史上的重要现象,东北地区尤其是哈尔滨外报在时间、特点等方面较关内地区不同,形成了20世纪初期十年哈尔滨报业独具的特色。在哈外报在充当宣传工具的同时刺激了国人报刊的出现,俄日机关报、国人民营报奠定了日后一二十年代的新闻事业格局,政治控制和文化传播作为显隐的影响一直持续到在华外报消失。

Foreign newspapers issued in China is an important phenomenon in the history of Chinese news communication. Northeast China, especially Harbin, is different from other places in Shanghaiguan considering the time and characteristics of foreign newspapers introduced in china. The foreign newspapers not only played the role of news spreading, but also stimulated the development of Chinese newspaper. Organ of Russia-Japan, Chinese private newspaper established the foundation of the news industry in 1910s and 1920s. The political controlling and cultural transmission, as implicit influence, didn＇t stop until the foreign newspapers were gone in China.
