On Chinese Culture Consciousness in English Teaching

当前英语教学中中国文化缺失现象日益严重,在语言教学当中应加入中国传统文化知识。加强中国文化自觉的途径有两种:一是英语教学中应加强本土化立场,二是既要加强中外文化的对话意识,又要加强文化输出意识。

The deficiency of Chinese culture in English teaching at present is increasingly serious.Traditional Chinese cultural knowledge should be added into language teaching.There are two ways to enhance the Chinese culture consciousness.First,the localization of Chinese culture in English teaching should be strengthened.Second,both conversational consciousness in Chinese and foreign cultures and consciousness of cultural exportation should be enhanced.
