摘要
现代隐喻研究认为,隐喻不仅是一种修辞手段,而且是人类认知、思维、言语和行为的基础。隐喻的组篇功能有助于对篇章形式的解构。基于这一理论,尝试从语音隐喻、概念隐喻两个角度入手,以高级英语部分内容为例阐述隐喻理论对高级英语语篇教学的重要性,以期为高级英语教学带来新的生气。
Modern metaphor research shows that metaphor is not only a rhetorical device,but the basis of human cognition,thoughts,speech and behavior.Its textual function is helpful to interpret the discourse patterns.From the perspective of phonetic metaphor and conceptual metaphor,the significance of metaphor theory to advanced English teaching were illustrated by citing examples from the corresponding teaching contents,in the hope of stimulating some new ideas.
