Based on the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of film teaching in college English class,original English film is regarded as an effective teaching material for college students with good command of certain vocabulary and grammar,which as a new access to English learning,creates relaxed learning circumstance and solve the problem of the effectiveness in terms of listening materials.Film teaching provides vivid materials for class activity,and help students accumulate large vocabulary to some extent.
