The composition and configuration of impressed current deep well anode cathodic protection system for a medium pressure pipeline are introduced. The overall test of the system is performed to evaluate the system operation and the consumption of auxiliary anode. The corrosion of the medium pressure pipeline has been effectively controlled by the system. There is correlation between the theoretical calculation result of auxiliary anode consumption and the circuit resistance of the system, which provides an additional field measurement basis for judging the anode service life.
