弱Dresselhaus自旋轨道耦合量子线电导(英文)

Electronic Conductance for a Quantum Wire with Weak Dresselhaus Spin-Orbit Coupling

摘要 在有效质量自由电子近似下,用散射矩阵方法计算了两端非绝热连接正常导体电极的弱D resselhaus自旋轨道耦合量子线的自旋电导.结果表明,由于Dresselhaus自旋轨道耦合作用,系统量子化电导平台在子带边缘呈振荡特性,并依赖于自旋轨道耦合强度与电极中的传播通道数以及量子线长度. The electron transport property for a Dresselhaus spin-orbit coupling(SOC)quantum wire nonadiabatically connected to the two normal leads without SOC in a geometry of wide-narrow-wide(WNW) is investigated.Using the scattering matrix approach within the effective free-electron approximation,we have calculated the spin-dependent conductance for the system.It is demonstrated that,through a few numerical examples,the quantized conductance of the system shows quantized plateaus with oscillation at the subband edges.These transport properties can be changed by the strength of Dresselhaus SOC,the number of propagation modes in the leads and the wire length.
