摘要
牟宗三的中西哲学比较研究在二十世纪新儒学中具有典型意义。他首先揭示了中西文化所凸显理性的不同,提出并论证了中国文化注重生命、西方文化注重自然的观点;进而从哲学学理上对中西文化内在精神的差异进行了细致的说明,在"一心开二门"的两层存有论构架下,系统论证了中国哲学在本体界存有论领域中发展充分、西方哲学在现象界存有论领域中发展充分的学说;并用康德哲学会通中西哲学,通过自由无限心的辩证开显来证成超越的分解,在圆善的价值诉求下进行时代的判教。牟宗三的中西哲学比较研究为推进中国哲学的创造性转化作出了重要的理论贡献。
Researches by Mou Zongsan of the Chinese and western philosophies play an important role in Chinese Confucianism in the 20th century.Mou Zongsan discusses,from the viewpoint of philosophy,the differences of the Chinese and western cultures in that the former values life whereas the latter the nature.With the double ontology of one mind and two principles,he claims that Chinese philosophy maintains ultimate development in ontology,while western philosophy in phenomenology.Moreover,he studies both Chinese and western philosophies with Kant.The free infinite mind develops dialectically to transcendental analytical.Mou Zongsan concludes that western philosophy and Chinese teaching are one based on the concept of round goodness.
