从方法论的角度看胡适的《中国哲学史大纲》

From The Methodological Point of View of Hu Shi's "Chinese Outline of the History of Philosophy"

学者们对胡适的《中国哲学史大纲》历来褒贬不一,大家贬低该哲学史的核心,在于胡适对"义理"的忽视。就写作特点而言,胡适写作哲学史时,对方法论有充分的自觉,注重对孔子、庄子等人思想源头的追溯,并因此而使该书具有区别于其它哲学史书的突出特征。胡适在书中所体现的方法论特点,是一种中西和璧的产物。在胡适的时代,以西学概念表征中国思想的做法蔚然成风,我们反其道而行之,用中国概念来表征胡适西化的方法论特点,其方法论可总括为"另一种‘正名主义’"。由胡适的哲学史方法论可引发出对方法论问题多元化的思考。

Scholars＇ evaluation of Hu Shi＇s ＂Outline of the History of Chinese Philosophy＂ ,has always mixed. However,what make the characteristics of the writing different from others is the fully conscious of the methodology,and the focusing on tracing the source of thought that Confucius and other classic authors might have. Hu Shi＇s methodology embodied in the characteristics of the book is a a combination of Chinese and Western. Interpretation of Chinese thought with the Western concept become common practice in the Hu era. We are doing exactly the opposite,try to explain Hu Shi＇s methodology with Chinese concept. The methodology can be summarized as ＂another ＇rectification of names＇＂. Methodology of the History of Philosophy from Hu can rise to the diversity of methodological problems.
