摘要
采用丙二酸处理沉淀法BaSO_4填充改性聚丙烯,研究了复合材料的结晶、微观形态和力学性能。广角X射线衍射结果表明,丙二酸处理的BaSO_4有利于聚丙烯中β晶型的形成;扫描电子显微镜观察发现,BaSO_4经处理后在体系中分散性得到改善,冲击断面呈韧性断裂;与未处理的BaSO_4相比,经表面处理的BaSO_4进一步提高了复合材料的冲击韧性。
The authors filled polypropylene(PP) with the barium sulfate that was subject to wet surface treatment in ethanol solution of malonic acid, and studied the crystallization, microstructure and mechanical properties of the resultant PP composites. Wide angle X-ray diffraction(WAXD) results show that the treated filler facilitates the growth of β crystal in PP. The surface treatment improved dispersibility of barium sulfate in the PP matrix and furthermore, favored the formation of ductile fracture on the impact fracture surface, as observed under scanning electron microscope(SEM). In addition, the treated filler increased the toughness of the composite material compared with the untreated one.
