摘要
根据全脑概念的原理,视听结合的教学手段可以同时提高学生英语综合应用能力和英语语言文化素养,使英语教学目的得以最大程度实现。目前,英语电影已被广泛地应用于英语视听说教学,成为学生锻炼英语听、说能力的有效途径,也存在着一些问题。在运用英语电影进行视听说教学时,教师应当有针对性地认清自己的角色定位,掌握有效的教学方法,并不断地提高自身的综合能力和素养,以使英语电影教学的优势得以最充分的发挥。
According to the Whole Brain Theory,the audio-visual method of English teaching contributes to improving stu-dents’language competence and linguistic-cultural literacy simultaneously,and helps to realize the teaching objectives of English to the greatest extent.Currently,cinematic English teaching,which is now used extensively in the English audio-visual and speaking course,has been an increasingly effective approach to supplement the standard English teaching.In the meantime,there are still some problems.To fully exert the advantages of cinematic English teaching,teachers should know their role well,apply effective teaching method properly,and develop their comprehensive language ability and literacy constantly.
