2006年至2008年为"十一五"规划阶段的头三年。以高等教育进入"大众化"教育时代为标志,我院提出了"办大众化音乐艺术教育,保持精英教育功能"、"坚持大众化音乐艺术教育的道路不动摇"的理念。规模扩张——在籍学生数提前完成"十一五"规划。3位青年教师在国际比赛中取得优异成绩;1项科研课题获国家级"优秀"成果奖。附中接受国家级重点中等职业学校(艺术类)评估,荣膺"国家级重点中等职业学校"。

2006-2008 was the first three years of llth Five-year Development Programl The higher edu- cation was marked with mass instruction, the Wuhan Conservatory put forward several new ideas of ＂run the Conservatory in the way of mass music art education, and meanwhile keeping on the function of elite educa- tion＂, ＂adherence to the road of mass music art education＂. The scale enlargement --the amount of registered students accomplished the l lth Five-year Development Program in advance. Three young teachers got excel- lent result in the international music competition, a scientific research item won the prize of the＂Good＂ achievement at national level. The Attached Middle School got assessed the national key middle vocational school （kin of art）, and won the title of ＂the National Key Middle Vocational School＂.
