Through analyzing the complementarity of the merchandise from Jinan and the Central Asian market,the paper identifies the commodities of Jinan with greater market potential in Central Asian and,through SWOT analysis,locates the fields with greater potential of the Central Asian market.According to the investigation conducted in the paper,products related to power grid renovation and reconstruction are to be in greater demand by the Central Asian countries.A comparison-based selection method is used to determine the route for minimum logistics cost of the exportation from Jinan to Central Asia and,according to the finding,the establishment of a production facility in Xingjiang from where exportation to the Central Asian can be made is an optimal choice.
