With the continuous development in international market,BGP Inc. has now grown to be a large and powerful geophysical company. Emphasis on safety management is increasing too. Transportation, as a high risk work in seismic operation, is paid more attention by BGP. The use of VTS（vehicle tracking system） is bound to become a very important part of the vehicle traffic management and control measures. However, the use of VTS is still in a groping stage. With years of experience in Saudi Arabia project, this paper introduced how to make better choices and use of a suitable VTS for reference.
