This paper mainly studies the method of determining the total inorganic phosphorus in water with ascorbic acid. This method can save the amount of reagent and the time of testing, and reduce the pollution of environment and the bad impact on the health of personnel because ascorbic acid with low concentration is non-toxic. And, with the high recovery rate, it is an effective analytical method of determining the total inorganic phosphorus in water.
