无线网络中基于信道速率的MAC性能优化

摘要 目前多种无线传输标准均支持多速率的数据传送,但多速率调整机制没有考虑物理载波侦听范围的影响.为比,文中分析了无线网络的干扰模型和空间复用,提出了一种通过调整发射功率间接改变物理载波侦听范围的自适应速率调整算法(PRA).该算法利用通信节点对之间的距离估算信道速率,可使节点在通信过程中自动调整到较高的信道速率和合适的发射功率范围.仿真结果表明,该算法提高了网络吞吐量,降低了功耗,同时改善了公平性. The existing wireless network standards provide multiple channel rates for data transmission.However,the multi-rate adjustment mechanism does not take into consideration the impact of the physical carrier sense range.This paper analyzes the interference model and spatial reuse of wireless networks and proposes an adaptive power and rate algorithm(PRA) that indirectly adjusts the physical carrier sense range by tuning the transmission power.In PRA,an appropriate channel rate is estimated according to the distance between communication node pairs,which helps to adaptively achieve high channel rate and suitable transmission power.Simulated results show that the proposed algorithm effectively improves the network throughout and the fairness,and reduces the power consumption.
