人体的组织缺损或局部形态欠佳是整形美容外科领域中经常面临的棘手问题，寻找一种安全、可靠、有效、不易被吸收的组织充填材料是多年来整形外科界追寻的目标。聚四氟乙烯是一种膨体的聚合物，没有异物排斥反应，无致癌作用，且既有一定的强度，又有一定的柔韧度，是一种理想的组织代用品。自１９９７年开始，我科应用聚四氟乙烯材料修复各种原因引起的颜面畸形共１１例。术后观察４～８个月，外形良好，无１例发生并发症。

Body tissue defect and local imperfect shape are troublesome problems in plastic and aecthetic area. Looking for an ideal tissue implant is the goal in plastic circles for a long time. The implant must be safe, effective and unabsorbable. PTFE is an expanded polymer with no rejectabilily and carcinogenicity, and is an ideal tissue substitute with certain density and flexibility. Since 1977, 11 cases of facial deformity have been treated by PTFE and observed for 4 to 8 months after operation. The shapes were perfect without complication.
