公众视野中S&TS研究的转型范式——对比克的隐喻及研究案例的剖析

A Discussion about the Paradigms of Transformation of S&TS Research in the Public View——Analyzing from Bijker's metaphor and research cases

4S学会前任主席比克使用童话故事中的隐喻,描述S&TS学者用"STS之吻"唤醒了他们的研究对象——实际工作的科学家和工程技术人员,去关注之前所没有意识到的科学技术中蕴含的文化特质。分析了比克隐喻的当代语境及该隐喻所蕴含的重要的S&TS研究策略,并通过对比克团队的S&TS研究工作的案例剖析,阐明了公众视野中的STS研究转型中的三个重要范式,即非子系统性、干预性和价值负荷性,还思考了中国的STS研究的现实情境。

The former president of 4S Wiebe Bijker uses the metaphor in a fairy story to describe that S＆TS researchers, alerting, with the ＂STS kiss＂, the objects they study -- the scientists, engineers and other actors, to the cultural qualities of science and technology, of which the actors themselves may not have been aware before. This article analyzes the modern context in which Bijker uses the metaphor and the important S＆TS research strategies the metaphor involves. And from the analysis on the case of the Bijker＇s team＇s S＆TS research work, this article illustrates the most important paradigms in the transformation of STS research in the public view, that is, to take S＆TS as non - subsystem, to intervene and to be value - laden. Finally, this article considers the real situation of STS research in China.
