春秋枭雄吴王阖闾——《左传》中阖闾形象简析

吴王阖闾凭借其敏锐的政治眼光,过人的谋略,大胆改革,选贤任能,终于使当时并不十分强大的吴国变得国富民强。之后,吴国击败强楚,一时威震诸侯,在春秋后期的政治军事舞台上写下了光辉灿烂的一笔。阖闾也有其性格上的弱点,那就是恃勇好斗,轻易挑起了对越国的战争,不仅给人民带来了灾难,也使自己走上了死亡之路。另外,他大造宫室、城池,也暴露了他奴役人民的本性。

He Lü made Wu Kingdom a strong country with his keen political foresight,uncommon strategy,adventurous innovation and the ideology of selecting and promoting talented persons. Then Wu defeated formidable Chu and became a strong country in late Spring and Autumn Period. He Lü also had weakness in his character. He challenged Yue,which was aggressive and sightless. The war brought disaster to common people and himself. In addition,he widely built palaces and cities,and that also revealed his nature of the enslavement of people.
