学生的发展是高校一切工作开展的中心,学生的质量是高校永恒的主题。提升高校办学质量关键是要践行"生本理念"。嘉应学院在改善与提升自身办学质量的过程中,探索出"学生代表座谈会"制度,以推动师生平等对话,从而畅通学校与学生沟通的渠道,增强学生的权益意识和归属感。实践证明,"学生代表座谈会制度"日益彰显其育人功能及提升办学质量和人才培养质量的"润滑剂"作用。

The quality of a university depends on the development of its students, and the quality of cultivating students is an eternal theme in university and a main basis as well. Therefore, the university which wants to improve its running quality must practice student - oriented principle. In the process of improving and promoting its school- running quality, Jiaying University has explored ＂Student Representatives Symposium＂ （SRS）. SRS devotes itself to encouraging the dialogue between teachers and students, with a view to expand the channel of communication between school and its students, and to enhance the rights consciousness and belongingness of the students. The practice shows that SRS, as a lubricant, has a far - reaching impact on the quality and level of a university.
