在西方教育发展史上存在着两种自由教育——古典自由教育和现代自由教育,通过考察这两者的发展脉络,发现最初的自由教育和现代自由教育有很大的不同。最初的"自由教育"只是古希腊教育的代名词,它代表的只是一种闲暇教育。

There are two types of liberal education in the western education history-classical liberal education and modem liberal education. By investigating their development, we find that there are many differences between them. ＂ Classical liberal education＂ is just a pronoun of ancient Greece education, it represents of lust a kind of leisure time education
